The Creativity Flywheel

How creative ideas become durable business assets - not one-off campaigns.

Most teams celebrate the launch and forget the loop. A campaign earns a moment; a flywheel earns compounding returns. The job of creative leadership is to design for the second one.

The loop

Insight → idea → execution → signal → next insight. Every cycle should sharpen the next. If the second campaign doesn't ride on the first, you didn't build a flywheel - you built a launch.

What kills the flywheel

Restarting the brief every quarter. Treating performance data as a scorecard, not a fuel source. Refusing to be wrong in public. The flywheel needs honest signal more than it needs hero ideas.

A creative idea is a one-shot. A creative system is a flywheel. Build the second one.

New frameworks, first.

No newsletter cadence, no drip sequence, no sales team. I email when I’ve written something worth reading, which is not often.

Unsubscribe in one click, obviously.

This is the thinking. The work is the other half.

If the framework rings true for your brand, the fastest way to find out is a conversation.
